My husband loved this book. It was very strait forward. It helped him quite a bit to change his ways. Several others have read it/are reading it and really relate to it also.

This book is awesome. It has revolutionized my thinking and brought victory into many areas of my life. I am so thankful for it. God has used this as a tool to speak to my heart the importance and power of hiding His truth in my heart.

I have not yet completed the book but was so overcome by its message that I came online to see about purchasing it for others. That is how I came to be writing this review, to encourage all of you who might be searching for joy and peace in this world to pick up this book and allow it to change your lives. Dr. Smalley confesses to all of us (not an easy thing to do) the sin that has entangled him for most of his life. He uses scripture after scripture to bring God's Word to light, teaching us how and why to hide it in our hearts on a daily basis.
Although my struggles and yours may not be the same as Dr. Smalley's, they are just as real and need to be dealt with. His methods based on God's word will bring anyone to the abundant life God has planned. It is within our grasp if we are willing and desiring to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and love our neighbor as ourself. I pray that you will give this book a chance. What could it hurt?!

Excellent book. Though I'm not finished yet, I can say that this is a MUST read for any Christian who is serious about improving his/her walk with Christ, and thereby improving the quality of his life as well. Dr. Smalley's principles are easy to understand, easy to follow, and easy to implement. I'm not a big reader (a shortfall I know) but I truly can't put this book down. In fact, our small group is using this book as the focus/topic of our next study.
