I used this to home educate my 6 year old and my 4 year old. They both loved it. They got a really good grasp of the basics of the Solar System very quickly indeed. They loved the 2 pieces of literature that the activities were based on, and there was very little in this book that they didn't enjoy doing. Some of the activities are more suitable to a class setting than to home-education, so we didn't bother with these, but we added in some activities of our own too, as we found that this book became a springboard for us to come up with plenty new ideas of our own. The only thing that lets this unit study down is that fact that there is no Christian emphasis, but we found it easy to add in our own Christian perspective to it. One of the things we did was to find as many scripture verses as possible which talked of the stars/sun/moon, etc and used them as daily copy work. This helped us to remember that God is the creator of the Solar System.
