Immigration and refugee policy clearly involves determinations about what is good for persons and communities. Yet little has been written about ethical perspectives on migration issues. This lack of attention is also evident in the literature of Christian ethics. Although churches are often active in ministries with immigrants and refugees, scholars have not brought Christian perspective to bear on the ambiguities and complexities of migration policies. This book seeks to respond to this challenge. It explores U.S. immigration and refugee policy from a Christian perspective.
