Remembering God's Awesome Acts covers Genesis 1 through Exodus 12. It includes creation, the flood, languages, Ur, Sumer, and Egypt. The primary focus is the Bible and Ancient History. The notebook includes a drawing course, a structured creative writing course, speech, and drama. In addition, geography, anthropology, archeology, and linguistics are studied. The purpose of each element is to give the student a better understanding of the Bible. The journey of learning is fascinating and life-changing as the Bible is presented not only as a historical document, but also as a handbook for daily living. Jesus Christ is emphasized from beginning to end. The NIV version is used, but it can be adapted to any Bible version. Includes Student book and Teacher's Guide.

We like this program. It is a bit too advanced for my 9 year old...she was not happy and did not understand some of it. But my 11 year old and 13 year old really enjoy it, as do I. We love how evolution is proven false again and again and my daughter especially loves the drawing lessons. We have only done a few of the lessons so far, but we are looking forward to more. I also bought the next book, so when we finish this one, we can move on to the next.

Invaluable information in this curriculum! You and your kids will learn so much by using it! It is not the most contemporary effort, but by coloring the pages it spices it up a little. Great for a study of Ancient Egypt, especially if you want to be sure the Biblical history is integrated with the secular history!! Super interesting, especially if your kids have heard all the BIble stories a 100 times and need some more meat than milk.
