Norman L. Geisler (Ph.D., Loyola University of Chicago) is cofounder and former dean of Southern Evangelical Seminary. He is the author of more than sixty books, including the Baker Encyclopedia of Christian Apologetics. He lives in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Thomas Howe (Ph.D., Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary) is professor of Bible and biblical languages and director of apologetics at the Southern Evangelical Seminary and Bible College in Charlotte, North Carolina.

This book has just about everything a new or old believer would ask. The book is just loaded with facts.They also offer other sides to a particular story. It's a great reference book.

If you have "When Critics Ask" by the same authors, you don't need this tome. These are the same work. This is an extremely scholarly work with lots of great insights on the "supposed" contradictions and difficulties of the Bible.
