This is an easy-to-read book with a lot of great information. I am not a teacher but learned a lot just from reading Hendricks' book.

I love this book. The 154 pages are packed full of insights and strategies which open the eyes of the reader to new ways of thinking. You are challenged the re-think how
you teach/ interact with others in that learning environment. Dr. Hendricks pushes the reader toward "self-discovery". I use this book in the teacher/ leader training
course I've developed. You want to gain Spiritual confidence? I recommend this book
highly.

This is my absolute favorite book on Christian Education. A friend recommended it to me while I was in college, preparing to teach elementary students. It challenged me as it reminded me what an impact teachers can have on their students regardless of the setting. I later entered seminary and read several books on this same subject, but none was more inspiring or informative than this book. If you have teaching responsibilities in your church, school, or home; you really should not be without this book.

As an administrator and teacher in a private Christian school, I am always looking for material to use in training and/or encouraging my teachers. This book excells in both areas. Although easy to read, understandable, and often humorous, Dr. Hendricks book provides profound insights into the teacher/student relationship and teaching/learning process. Dr. Hendricks has a way of stating the most profound ideas in such a clear, logical way that you think, "Of course. Why didn't I ever think of that?" There are plenty of ideas here to ponder and digest interspersed with often hilarious stories of his own students and teaching experiences. Even though the books is relatively short there is as much useable information packed in here as in a volume three times this size. There is also a generous dose of encouragement and inspiration for every teacher and reminders that we are not just teaching to impart information but Teaching To Change Lives. I highly recommend this book.
