A nationally known educator, writer, and speaker on family life issues, Jayne regularly conducts workshops and brings insight and empathy to audiences of both families and professionals. She holds a master's degree in life issues counseling from the Master's Graduate School of Divinity. Jayne and her husband, David, live in Dayton, Ohio.

This book was very helpful, addressing lots of tertiary issues I never even considered. It was realistic, but the main theme was hope. It kept bringing me back to the goodness and sovereignty of God, which is where we all need to be when going through something as challenging as this situation in our family.
