"No Place to Hide" certainly lives up to it's name. This book was fulled with suspense that kept me up late into the night, I didn't want to put it down because I just had to know what happened next and considering I had to work the next day that tells you something right there. I took out ten chapters a night which landed me at ending the book in four days and most likely, it would have been read even faster had I not had to work. Throughout the book the main characters, Ian and Jackie, were running for their lives as the back of the book states. The constant game of cat and mouse really entertained me. It reminded me of the cartoon "Tom & Jerry". The mystery takes you on just about every ride you could experience in a suspense novel. You never could guess what was going to happen next. This was the first book I have read by the author and I will be reading more from her. I really did enjoy this book. There are two other books in this series so everyone who reads this knows, personally I didn't read the first two before this one, reading them isn't a must but I would recommend it because some of the characters from the other books were included in this one and I found myself wanting to know what happends in their story but as I said, it isn't a must. Everything made plenty of sense to read it as one book and not a series. What I loved about Jackie's character, even though she didn't have any faith at all in God at the start, she wouldn't abandon her friend, Ian. She stood by him and helped him fight it out until the end. (Whether it is a bitter ending or not, you'll have to read it to find out.) I really liked the story & the characters as well. I personally would recommend it to anyone who loves a good suspense novel, though one thing I have to say is, if you are sensitive to shooting and yes, killing, this might not be the book for you because there is both. I didn't mind it but it depends on the person. All in all I give this book four stars! I received this book from Revell Publishers for my honest review, which I have given. I was not required to write a positive review and have not been compensated for it in any way. All opinions expressed are mine.

Suspenseful, Heart-Racing, Non-Stop Action! As Jackies childhood friend is plastered all over the TV with Terrorist and Wanted by FBI labels, she heads on over to his place to see whats going on. Little does she know that this sets a chain of events into motion that will make them both part of the FBIs most wanted list. As they race to prove their innocence, the government and the bad guys (as she refers to them) get closer and closer.

While this book was high action and kept me turning the pages, I felt like parts of it were really bogus. Of course, there will be elements of that in any action book or movie. So, that wasnt enough to turn me off. I did enjoy the read and I liked the characters. They had depth and learned to trust God through the book. Overall, well written and would definitely read another in this series.

Thank you, Revell, for this great read! As always, this is my honest opinion. Heres to many more!!

Lynette Eason never fails to deliver plenty of action and scattered clues that keep you guessing what's really going on until the very end. This plot could be taken right from the script of a blockbuster movie. The government tries to cover up the disappearance of live smallpox virus from a high security lab by saying there's been a small outbreak somewhere and people should get the vaccine just in case. That's all part of a larger conspirace that could kill thousands. The opening scene is Jackie breaking into Ian's house to find out what happened to him, and it doesn't slow down from there. I enjoyed the character of Jackie, she's smart and spunky.

I was hoping the people from Operation Refuge would have a slightly bigger role in this story, but that's really not a big deal. I wasn't terribly fond of Ian, partly because his back story of going from a scrawny, bookish teen to a ripped martial artist in the 10 years they didn't see each other made me roll my eyes a bit, but overall it's a fun read and I would definitely recommend it, as well as the two previous books in this series. They can be read in any order without difficulty or confusion.

Jackie Sellers is shocked when her childhood friend, Ian Lockwood, is accused of terrorism. Willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, she rushes to his home only to find the FBI isn't the only one chasing him. Her connections allow her to assist Ian in evading capture and searching for evidence to prove his innocence. But time is running out as the smallpox virus has been stolen and someone plans to release it very soon. Will Ian and Jackie prevent disaster and rekindle their relationship? Read more in Lynette Eason's No Place to Hide.

No Place to Hide is the third book in Lynette Eason's Hidden Identity Series and works fine as a stand-alone novel. I have not read the previous two books, but did not feel that I was missing any pertinent information.

No Place to Hide met my expectations with a suspense-filled plot and a tad of romance. Jackie and Ian's relationship developed quite nicely, but the focus was more on what was happening and less on romantic moments or overtures. This is not necessarily a bad thing as perhaps too much romance would have slowed things down. The story kept me guessing about who was behind the smallpox release and I liked that the individual scenes seemed original. I haven't read a lot of suspense novels so I can't be completely sure of it's originality, but it wasn't overly predictable to me. I recommend No Place to Hide by Lynette Eason to fans of inspirational suspense novels.
