Small-town basketball coach Clay Driscoll (Jeffrey Donovan) is playing defense, because everything seems to be fighting against him. He's saddled with a team he doesn't want, in a town that won't support girls' sports, and where local politics undermines any chance of a winning season. The story was alright, but I wouldn't recommend it for family viewing because of the language that is used throughout the film. I would not have purchased it for our church library had it been noted that the language used was not suitable for a Christian audiance.

This is a good movie great story line but i was disappointed to hear the name of JESUS used, it also had other bad language in it. Would i watch it again NO just for this reason.

I had no foreknowledge of this DVD and was very pleasantly surprised at its excellence. The story had suspense, believability, conflict, and a very satisfactory resolution. The interview with the real people at the end was a great "topper" for the story line, and serves to make the viewer aware that real people can have such events occur and can survive and thrive after them. I might have enjoyed seeing the coach and his wife with a child before the film ended. However, I think this film is underexposed, and that more people should become aware of its valuable examples.

This is a GREAT movie!! I am a children's director and plan on showing it to my 4th and 5th graders. It is about one of the small towns near by and part of the movie was filmed in our town!Can't wait to show it!!

all of the family loved this one. very encouraging and up lifting movie. teaches us to trust in God's plan,even though we don't understand and think our way is the best. a big winner!
