I liked this movie. It's inspiring! Sounds like the book had lots more in it, too.

I would love to see the Second Section of Bunyan's Book also on scene. Christiana and her childrens' pilgrimage should be covered as well as Christians.

This video protrayal of the book will teach a spiritual lesson for those who are seeking that. However, as an African American, I get soooo tired of seeing Blacks and other races in very little of these productions. Your vision is so narrow! Think outside of the box! You'll get a wider viewing audience, and reach more people if you do.

A very good adaptation of the book. I felt like the spirit and style of the movie was very faithful to Bunyan's work. Especially good acting from the main actor.

While no movie is as ever as good as the book, this is, out of necessity, more true of the Pilgrim's Progress. It is not an indictment against the film. Rather, it is a commentary on just how powerful John Bunyan's work has proved to be since he wrote it from a prison cell in the 1600's.
I have used this movie as an evangelistic tool for the children to which I minister to as well as to many of their parents. I would highly recommend this movie as an evangelistic tool as I have witnessed first hand the effects of Christian's wrestling with the coming destruction of his city and his pilgrimage to the Celestial City. A couple of the children in my ministry wrestled so much with that truth that they began searching the Scriptures wanting to know more.
For a Christian movie, it is noticeable that the budget was not the largest, but the content surpasses all of that. It is a family favorite and one I highly recommend to everyone.

The Gospel was clearly presented. A very good modern version of the book. It made you think.

I bought this initially for my son (10yrs old), but the whole family watched the movie. It sparked many good conversations for all of us (parents & kids 4yrs-14yrs). I would highly recommend Pilgrims Progress to families and youth groups as well...It was helpful that I had read Pilgrims Progress (Kid Version) to my oldest daughter years ago..to interpret what was happening and why to the central charaters.

This movie was VERY VERY VERY good! It was the best Pilgrams Progress, Though the Demons and Satan looked very real. Hell was a little scary, too. I would not reccomend this for younger child. But for older children this is good. This is a GREAT messege for people who do not pay attention to God's Word. The acting was AMAZING. No,I take that back. This was TOTALLY AMAZING!
