the Bibles are great for short term use or occasional use. I bought them for people to use during a Bible study I have in my home. The print is very small, so if you already have trouble reading fine print, you don't want this book. Other than that, they are great to have around for extras.

The text is awesome but the print is a way TOO SMALL. I almost can't read it ! You can become tired very quickly and should buy a Bible with larger print if you do not want to have a headache or eyeaches after 10 minutes reading... Sorry.

I have found that this is a great way to have this version of the Bible in a small enough form to easily take it on a trip. I just recently took a trip and was glad to have this Bible with me. It is small and light to carry. This version is so so rich too!

I gave this Bible a 5 star rating in the context that is a good bible with alot of information and insight into the original languages. It is, however, more for a temporary use, or a guarded media kept in-home to consult. To travel with this Bible or to plan on long term use would prove it insufficient because of the quality of the book itself.
But all in all, it is a great resource. Alot of bang for the buck!

Inexpensive, but so valuable! The Amplified Version of the Bible opens your eyes to the Scriptures like no other. It has been such a blessing in my life, and through CBD I can purchase these Bibles at a very reasonable price so that I can bless others.

I'm very impressed from the text of the Amplified Bible. For the first time I understand what the author really means in the Bible.
But, I recommend this Mass Market edition only if you travel and want to get this little sized Bible or if you want just to make a reference in the text. The little size makes reading very difficult, because there are not any place for holding the pages. And if I try to hold the pages over the text it smudges.

I absolutely love this Bible. I also bought the Full Life Study Bible from CBD. I read the 2 together when I do my devotions. The Amplified helps me pick up on the subtle connotations of the text (especially NT) and the Full Life helps me with back ground and spiritual application. I am so impressed with this amplified that I have asked the church to buy these for the youth fellowship group at our church. I absolutely will not be with out it anymore and I suggest that you get this if you want to truly understand all God is trying to tell you through his word.
