Who are you when no one's looking? When her people were threatened, Esther had to ask herself that question. Would she step out and risk her own life? Godly character develops under pressure. This guide will help you discover how to face the challenges of a culture that has rejected God and take a stand for what is right. This revised LifeGuide Bible Study features questions for starting group discussions and for meeting God in personal reflection, together with expanded leader's notes and a "Now or Later" section in each study.

My 10-year-old daughter and I just finished doing this Bible study together. It was perfect for our purposes since she is preparing for Bible Book Battles. The study asks insightful questions that help one see the book of Esther with more depth. At the same time, the questions are truly centered on the book of Esther instead of requiring that one do much reading in other parts of the Bible.

Our Sunday School class is just completing the 9-week study of Esther. We find that it's very relevant to today's world and made us think about ways we can speak up in the face of injustice.
