I'm a Piano Teacher that was introduced to "Piano for Quitters" & "Piano for Life" by one of my Piano Students. I was impressed by Mark Almond's simplistic improvising approach using Chords & Harmony. I currently have a new Adult Student that took lessons as a kid, but as an Adult wanted to do more Improvising with Chords & these DVD's were a "Perfect Match" for her. She can spend hours watching/playing with the DVD's & I can have fun working with her in Piano Lessons. She liked the DVD's so much she bought 4 more.

I am 14 and home-schooled and never had piano lessons before. This course is very easy to understand. This teaches you everything you need to know about chords, harmony, and music theory. It is the best piano course you will ever buy! This is Great!

I have three children that are using this program. Prior to getting a music book, we went through the first few lessons and spent a couple of weeks learning where the notes were located on the keyboard. After mastering that we learned where the chords were located. I made sure they understood these concepts before moving on. One of them is musically talented (plays clarinet & flute already)and took to it easily. I bought a chord book and she was able to play from it that day! My second daughter struggled with formal piano lessons, then we tried the snare drum in band, then we tried the clarinet in band. They all were frustrating for her and me! She went through the same procedure as my older daughter though it took her a little longer. After about two days in the chord book, she was playing a song from one of her favorite musicals! I am amazed at her ability and moreover she is too!!! My youngest child spent a few months learning the trombone in band. He took the longest to move through the lessons, but he too is now playing music from a chord book! My kids & I actually understand the concept of playing melodies and using chords to produce harmony. They are making beautiful music and my home is being blessed because of it. I have never played piano before, but I have every confidence that I can do it too! As if that weren't good enough, I LOVE the fact that Mr. Almond is available to answer questions. When we get stuck in a piece, we can call him and get clarity on what we're supposed to be doing! This program is amazing!

After working through the lessons in Piano For Quitters, I wanted to know more. Piano For Life answered all of my technical, in-depth questions in a style simple enough that even I could understand. It lays a very strong foundation for ANY further music study. Plus, I will admit that it's fun to amaze my family and friends with my new piano skills. When they comment that it sounds like I've really been "working" at it, I have to tell them that with this piano course, I "play" the piano--it doesn't feel like "work." I truly will enjoy playing the piano for the rest of my life.

Awesome! I am 13 and have had two years of lessons and this course doubled my piano I.Q. in less than a day.
