Cracking Da Vinci's Code provides answers to the many questions which have troubled readers of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code. Authors James Garlow and Peter Jones confront the suspense novel's heresy and false teaching with true and accurate Christian theology. Garlow and Jones not only maintain that Brown's assertions are historically inaccurate, but also reveal some compelling evidence that the novel may have a hidden agenda.

I've read a wide selection of books available on the Christian publishing market that address 'The Da Vinci Code.' What I've found is that many of these books address or stress different aspects of the issues that Dan Brown's novel raises. 'Cracking The Da Vinci Code' introduces the reader to these questions through the narrative of a college student whose newly-lesbian roommate invites her to a discussion of 'The Da Vinci Code.' Thus follows an investigation into Brown's concept of "the sacred feminine," contrasting its shallow and contradictory theory with Biblical high regard for women and liberation from sexual exploitation. I would recommend this especially to female readers, as it addresses many gender-related myths and concerns involving Christianity and the historical Church.
