Reviewed by Sheila Reynolds (Washington IL), September 04, 2007 Gary Thomas is certainly a gifted writer! Every woman that wants to have a marriage God intended, this is a must-read book! Gary uses biblical references to support the facts of what a marriage is. He shares how God made man's and woman's brain different using scientific facts. By sharing those difference it supports why we react so differently to events, sex, and decisions in our lives. His approach certainly made me see the "light" on how important it is to understand our differences and he gives suggestions of the best ways to approach our husbands to create better communication and partnership. He is open about how men think, and since he is a man he is an expert :-) He explains how and why men react the way they do. Being reminded we are married to one of God's sons certainly caught my attention. Now I have better understanding to the terms "helper" and "submit" , before this book I didn't care for those terms at all; now I appreciate them. You just need to read this book...you won't be disappointed! I plan to buy copies to give away. Write a review of Sacred Influence: How God Uses Wives to Shape the Souls of Their Husbands
