I really do like this album. Switchfoot is my favorite band because they don't always seem to be centered around the instruments. The lyrics are different and very deep. Some people don't like to think about the words and that is why I believe some bands such as Switchfoot don't get the credit they deserve. God has blessed Jonathan Forman with great writing skills and that is why they are a great band. The music was fresh and cool, and the lyrics were great. One of the best albums they have put out.

I love The Legend of Chin. Switchfoot is Amazing! The songs are so much fun and they're really neaningful. I personally like their newer stuff a little bit better (just a little bit) but this cd is really awesome too. I think You, Chem6a and Home are my favorites off of this album. Buy it. It's great!

This is their best CD. Each CD that they recorded had a specific underlying theme, and the theme in this CD appears to be apathy. This is totally and completely a realistic view into the life of a 19 year old American boy. Every guy I know of that age this CD mirrors his emotional/mental state remarkably. I consider it the best CD for in this CD because in this CD they use alot more raw hard core sounds. According to Tim Foreman, the bassist, this cd was recorded and cut and spliced together instead of being mixed normally, and it has alot better sound to it, at least in my opinion, everything is so fresh and original sounding. My favorite song on the whole CD is "Don't be There", because it describes perfectly the emotions between two people when you realize that you can no longer date because one of you is a christian, and the other is only pretending to be one.

This is one of the best CDs ever made - in my humble opinion. Every track is awesome and different. It's one of those great CDs that have a mix of everything. They have a bunch of great rock songs - and a few slower and acoustic songs that just balance everything out perfectly. I could never get sick of this album, or any of Switchfoot's albums. They're lyrics are deep and clever - and it's rare to find such an inspiring and thought-out album.

This Cd is probably the best out of all three of them. I've loved these guys since the very beginning. I think this one is the best one cause they're leaning more towards to pop now, instead of rock. "Chem 6a" is my personal fave. The guitar solos in it are ROCKIN' IT OUT!!!! I learned how to play them I liked them so much. Yes, so. . . buy this or borrow it from a friend!!!!
