In a church-age driven all too often by managerial and administrative techniques adapted from blatently secular models, this volume provides decades-long needed discussion of character and grace as priority elements of leadership. I highly recommend it to denominational as well as pastoral and lay leaders. We will certainly hear more from these authors in future years.

This is probably the best book I have read on leadership. It is much more consistent with biblical perspectives than most Christian leadership books. It should have been available 30 years ago. This is a must read for all pastors and Christian leaders!
