I have been using this series for several years in my children's choir in my church. I believe the hymns are a vital part of our spiritual heritage, and I long to impart this heritage to my students. I use this book and enclosed CD in conjunction with the available orchestral accompaniment downloads which are available. I wish this series had been available when I was raising my own children, who are all grown, but delight to be able to share this beautiful music with other generation children. Any parent who wants to impart beautiful music, biblical theology and a great spiritual heritage with their children or grandchildren--or children's choir—will find all that in this volume, in this series.

Just a note to say we love this book and CD I purchased it for my mother (91) years old, she loves to hear the old time favorite hymns. I have only given her the Christmas book and CD so she would have it for the holidays, and will give her the other one as a Christmas Present. We all love listening to the CDs.

This is a truly wonderful collection of songs sung by children and Joni Earkson Tada. My children love the stories from Joni and Bobby W. and they love the children singing along with Joni. We listen to this CD all year round. It's very uplifting and brings the real meaning of Christmas to life.

This is a wonderful book. It was just enough to add to our homeschool studies at Christmas time. The book gives background information on the hymn/carol, plus the full words and music. The CD has sweet voices, young & adult, and full orchestras on some. It is of such good quality that you might want to listen to it on its own! We really enjoyed learning these songs and having the children sing fully (and with understanding) alongside the congregation during the Christmas season!
