This book is a critical examination of how our "Bible" came to be accepted. Bruce takes an historical look at the councils and synods that met and the various criteria used to canonize various books of the Bible. This book is useful for scholars who are interested in looking at the origins of the current Bible, but does not address some of the more practical arguments raised by skeptics. A great book overall!
