Tell us a little about yourself. I've been a Bible study teacher for nearly 18 years, and love the balance between writing and teaching. In my "day job" I'm a marketing director for a children's hospital, and a volunteer child advocate in my community.

What was your motivation behind this project? This is a book I would never have written without being asked. I never planned to have enough experience being single to write about it, but my plans aren't the last word! I'm grateful the opportunity came my way.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project? A strong sense of the life that is theirs in Christ, and of all the good things God is doing, and a conviction that now is the time to serve, love, give and grow. And then hope. Lots of hope!

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? C.S. Lewis, G. K. Chesterton, Dorothy Sayers, Frederick Buechner, Peter Kreeft, John Piper, Ken Gire, Annie Dillard, Dallas Willard.

LEIGH MCLEROY is a contributing writer of seven books, including Romancing the Home and Everywhere I Go. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Leigh worked as an on-camera news reporter before venturing into advertising and marketing. She speaks to groups across the country and has led many church and home Bible studies for singles. A self-described "not-yet-married-but-still-quite-hopeful" person, Leigh makes her home in Houston, Texas.
