SOS 2013 History & Geography

Grade 3 SOS History & Geography students will focus on U.S. Communities, covering farms, fishing, mining, animals, and the establishment of America.

Grade 5 SOS History & Geography students will focus on the history of the western hemisphere, including topics such the exploration of the New World, colonial life, America's beginning and development, and America's neighbors.

Grade 6 SOS History & Geography students will focus on world history & culture, including topics such the Roman and Greek civilizations, Middle Ages, South America, Africa, and Europe.

Grade 7 SOS History & Geography focuses on social science surveys, including anthropology, sociology, economics, political science, and U.S. geography.

Grade 8 SOS History & Geography students will study US History, including the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, the Industrial Revolution, European civilizations, the American colonies, and more.

Grade 9 SOS History & Geography students will explore the seven continents, including each region's settlement, culture, politics, economics, and environment. This 13-unit course features an in-depth study with geography tools, physical geography characteristics, enriching projects, and fascinating interactive lessons.

Grade 10 SOS History & Geography students will study World History, including ancient Egypt and Greece, the medieval world, world empires, revolutions and war.

SOS Bible Grade 11 students will study Bible doctrine, including Christianity during Roman times, Jesus' doctrine, the nation of Israel, the history of the canon, God's faithfulness, and more.
