|Product Comparison: LIFEPAC and Horizons Language Arts
The LIFEPAC Language Arts curriculum is a comprehensive Language Arts program in which all areas of the English language, including spelling, writing, vocabulary, and more, are covered in one Language Arts curriculum. Horizons Language Arts, on the other hand, is divided into three separate areas: Phonics & Reading, Spelling & Vocabulary, and Penmanship. This separation of topics allows students to study Language in a multitasking environment.
While the LIFEPAC curriculum is available for grades K-12, the Horizons Language Arts program is only available for a few elementary grades. Phonics & Reading programs are available for kindergarten and 1st grade students, while Spelling & Vocabulary lessons are available for 1st and 2nd grade students only.
Although best used at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade levels, the Horizons Penmanship program can be used by students at any grade level to enhance their penmanship skills.
