The Phonetic Zoo: A Self Teaching Spelling Program Level C contains a 6 audio-CD set, Phonetic Zoo Lesson Cards, Personal Spelling Zoo Cards, and Introduction DVD-ROM. Using the zoo lesson cards, parents present each rule using discussion and reading the words; once learned, the child is presented with the small, personal card to serve as a reminder. The audio CD set contains six audio CDs in a plastic case. Introductory comments and the first lesson are included; each spelling word is pronounced and accompanied by a rule jingle. Spelling words are pronounced for the child to pause and spell; the correct spelling is included at the end of the lesson. This multi-sensory approach reinforces lessons in the best way for each child to learn and retain spelling words. Level C is intended for children in Grades 8 & up.

Based upon the author's successful seminars, How to Write A Story is geared towards younger writers, but may be successfully adapted for older writers. Eight lessons will explain the fundamentals of writing fiction (enjoyably!) while exercises reinforce what has been taught and worksheets help with assess progress. Students are taught a 3-step story model, where there is a situation involving a character with a problem, an objective, and obstacles over which this character seeks to triumph. Exercises help strengthen the imagination, encourage revisions, reinforce elements of writing, and require original writing. 80 pages, softcover and spiral-bound. Answers included.
