What is Destination Math?
Destination Math™, developed by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Learning Technology™, is a carefully sequenced, comprehensive curriculum that demonstrates how mathematical issues arise from real-life situations. What grade range is covered by Destination Math?

Is the CBD version of Destination Math the same as the version used by Public Schools? Can I buy this version for my public school classroom?
The content of CBD's Destination Math product offerings is the same. However, CBD is only permitted to offer the special Saxon Destination Math resources to the homeschool community.

Does Destination Math have a Learning Management System?
Yes! CBD currently offers the content (student) only version. CBD will be offering Destination Math with a Learning Management System late fall 2011 or early winter 2012. The Learning Management System offers the homeschool parent the opportunity to assign activities, create assessments (tests), generate performance evaluations (reports) and create or utilize lesson plans.

Can I upgrade my Content (Student) Only version to the Learning Management Version once it becomes available?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to upgrade between the content only version and the learning Management System version. If you wish to monitor your student's progress beginning with their current level in the content only version, please be sure to note the following: What session, what module and what unit the student is working on (or had completed). Please visit our website (www.christianbook.com) and search for "Destination Math" to determine if the Learning Management version is available. If available, contact our customer service department (customer.service@christianbook.com or 800-788-1221) to cancel your current subscription to the content only version (please note that CBD offers a full refund for a cancellation within 30 days of purchase; if your cancellation is after 30 days, CBD will issue a refund based on subscription portion used; e.g. if you have used your subscription for 3 months, CBD will issue a refund for 75% of the cost, excluding state sales tax if applicable). After canceling your current subscription, place an order for the equivalent course with Learning Management System.

Can I count Destination Math as my full-year Math Curriculum?
Destination Math offers content to enhance your student's full-year Math Curriculum. The content (student) only versions currently offered by CBD are packages that correspond to levels of Destination Math taught in the Saxon Homeschool Math curriculum. Please note that although these products correlate with the Saxon Math curriculum, the Destination Math content may be used to supplement other full-year math curriculums. Does the Destination Math Content (Student) Only version offer corresponding print materials?
Destination Math Content (Student) only itself does not have print materials customized for your student's individual educational experience. However, print materials designed for institutional schools are available to be adapted and used within your homeschool setting. Please click here, then click on "Destination Math Resources (English)" tab on the upper left side and select the corresponding course for which you would like to print supplemental materials.

Can more than one student share the same Username?
No. Upon purchase completion, CBD provides a unique Username for your student. A separate purchase for an additional student is required.

Once my student completes a session, can he or she go back to do it again?
Yes! Destination Math does not lock already completed material. You can review/reuse material for the student that the subscription was purchased for as many times as you would like.

If my student completes their content subscription only, can we move on to the next level automatically?
If you have purchased Destination Math for Saxon Math Grades 1 through Math 5/4 or Math 7/6 through Algebra 1, your student will have access to multiple levels of Destination Math. If you have purchased Saxon Math Grade K or Saxon Math 6/5, your student will only be able to access one level of Destination Math. However, Saxon Math content is spread throughout the course offerings of Destination Math, so a student can get a head start on the next level of Saxon Math. If your subscription runs out in the middle of a level, you will need to purchase a new subscription.

Does CBD offer a free 1-month demonstration or trial period?
No. However, if after one month you are not satisfied with the Destination Math content, CBD will provide a full refund of the product cost (excluding state sales tax when applicable) within 30 days of purchase.

Can I change my student's Username?
No. CBD will assign your student's name based on his/her first and last name provided during the order check out process.

What if my student can't remember his/her password? Can my student change his/her password?
Destination Math Content (Student) Only version hosted by CBD offers the option for you or your student to reset your password. You will need to have your student's Username, first and last name. Click here and enter your student's Username, first and last name in the appropriate boxes. Click the green OK button. You will then have an opportunity to reset the password (no greater than 16 characters).
