It leaves little to no color when highlighting.
It will mark on regular paper but it does not "highlight" a verse. Bible pages seem to be different paper because there is no color when you underline. I tried all colors.

Simple solution!
Love this item! Finally a quality combination of highlighting colors in one easy to use pen. Perfect for studying of any kind, won't bleed through and no more carrying around multiple highlighters. Highly recommend!

my husband & I have both used these markers for over 20 years. We love them. They are easy to use, don't bleed thru and I can change colors to make something stand out even more. I highly recommend these markers to anyone. They are a bit expensive, but they last a long time and are worth the money.

Excellent Product, but a bit pricey.
This is an excellent product, very well designed. No more rummaging arround in a pencil case for the right highlighter. I would also love to see this with the (popular brand) pencil colours, would be a great artist tool as well. Unfortunately it is a bit pricey (I had to drop the value a notch because of this), but I'm sure if it becomes more popular (and it should), the price should come down. The refills are quite reasonable. I had no trouble with breakage for the leads, just follow the instructions and keep the leads short and they won't break. If you're heavy handed... well, you need to lighten up :-> Pencils are pencils, not chisels :-) And I highly doubt that you're highlighting a stone tablet :-) ... but if you are, my archaeologist friend would like to get to know you at 555-.... :->
