Best Book so Far
Book 6 of this series is my favorite. The story line did not play out at all like I thought it would, and I liked that because having read so many books... I usually guess where the story is going. This book was so well written, I did not see the story happening like it did. The moral of the story is one we don't see very often: tell the truth, even when it will cost you something.
My siblings (ages 10 & 13) also love these books. I'm their book previewer, and these books are great. I'm a harsh critic when it comes to books - especially adventure books. But these are awesome in every aspect. From the story line, to the characters, to the morals, these books are extremely well written. Many authors try to "tell" you about the character; Susan Marlow "shows" you their character. In fact, you feel like you know them.
These books aren't for girls only. My brother is 13 and has thoroughly enjoyed these books. Yes, the main character is a girl, but the series has a strong male presence in the form of her 3 brothers and her friend, Cory.

Andrea Carter and the Price of Truth
Trouble has no problem finding thirteen-year-old Andrea (Andi) Carter. Despite best intentions, her plans almost always get thwarted. In this sixth and final book of the Circle C Adventures series, Andrea Carter and the Price of Truth, Andi secretly plans to earn money herself so she can give her mother a very special birthday gift. But keeping those plans a secret from her family is easier said than done.
When Andi witnesses a crime and identifies one of the town's top citizens at the scene, she finds herself in a big mess! Will she make the sacrifice required of the price of truth?
The Circle C Adventures series is wholesome reading for the whole family.

Lovable impetuous Andi Carter rides her horse Taffy into another adventure. Will Andi be able to pay the Price of Truth? The sixth book in the Andi Carter is excellent. Susan Marlow has the gift of entertaining readers of all ages. Young readers especially will enjoy all six of the Andi Carter series.

We loved this book! It has good Christian morals. It has adventure and intrigue. Enough so that it is hard to put the book down. It tests Andi's Christian virtue between right and wrong. Andi turns to God to get answers but isn't overly done as to be preachy, which can be a turn off to some tweens and teens. But enough to for moral lessons. I really love this series of books for my girls (even my teen son likes them). Susan Marlow is a wonderful writer. I recommend these for daughters and granddaughters everywhere.
