40 Sheet Music Bestsellers: Christian Hits
A Poor Purchase
When I received this book of sheet music in the mail, I was very excited and immediately went to try it out on my piano. In half an hour, my attitude was completely different.
I cannot express how deeply disappointed and frustrated I am by this product of CBD's. The accompaniment and notes for all of these popular songs are very bland and strange. Moreover, some of the notes transcribed are simply wrong. Many of the chords in the accompaniment are so peculiar that if you could not see the title, you would never know they belonged to the song they claim to be interpreting.
Another thing I want to point out (and something that this publisher fails to mention), is that the pieces in this book are designed for advanced pianists only. A beginning player would never be able to play any of these songs, and even a moderately advanced student would struggle to master even one of these pieces.
Regrettably, my critique does not stop there. The book itself is also poorly designed, and it is in desperate need of a spiral binder. As it is, the only way to keep it up and open on most standard pianos would be to put a heavy weight (such as a hymnal) on both sides of it. Of course, this leads to problems when you are trying to flip pages in the middle of the song.
To sum everything up, this book was a huge disappointment, because even with an amateur doing the piano notation, the end result would have been better than this. If you are looking for the sheet music for any of these songs, I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere.

This product has the songs I wanted but would have preferred spiral bound as the book back won't last long with continued use.

If you are looking for piano accompaniment, this book is for you...it is not written as piano solos...which is what I was looking for.

I love having my favorite songs at hand to play any time I want. It would be easier, however to use the book if it was on a spiral binder instead of the way it is set up now. The book keeps closing while I am playing.
