I have enjoyed this series and this is another good book to the series. This time we see Elizabeth and Kate and of course Biscuit the wonder dog together in San Antonio. We meet some interesting characters and another mystery. It seems the River City Cruise Boats are having alot of issues and the girls decide to investigate. At the same time Elizabeth and Kate are helping with ministry activities with some of the local children. I enjoyed how this story played out and found its another case of first impressions are not always what they seem. I love how the girls use scripture and prayer when they are solving there mysteries.

      A Slight Disappointment

This book was a slight disappointment from what I had anticipated. After reading several books of the Camp Club Girls series, and almost every one becoming a new favorite, I expected more from Elizabeth's San Antonia Sleuthing, and from the author Renae Brumbaugh. First of all, most of the first half of this story is dull, and lacking the excitement needed to make an interesting mystery. And second of all, there is an abundance of distractions leading the reader away from what should be the concentration of the story, the mystery. But I did find the second half to be more satisfactory, since it was more involved with the mystery. Another thing that was likable about this book, was that even though the story was not what I had come to expect from the Camp Club Girls books, Elizabeth still has that special quality of praying to, and quoting Bible verses of the God who she loves so much.
