And from the moment they meet at Betsy's fifth birthday party, Betsy and Tacy becoms such good friends that everyone starts to think of them as one person—Betsy-Tacy.
Betsy and Tacy have lots of fun together. They make a playhouse from a piano box, have a sand store, and dress up and go calling. And one day, they come home to a wonderful surprise—a new friend named Tib.

S. Miller5 Stars Out Of 5December 9, 2009S. MillerI grew up with Betsy, Tacy, and Tib. The books are full of all kinds of interesting adventures of 3 very close friends! The set takes the reader on a historical journey during the years 1897-1917. The author, Maud Hart Lovelace, has basically written about her own life through the series. This is the second set I am buying, since my daughter, Tacy, owns the first. For more information on the series, check out the web page of the Betsy-Tacy Society.
Barbara Donnelly5 Stars Out Of 5December 17, 2007Barbara DonnellyI have loved these books ever since I was a child in the 50s. They are always my top recommendations to anyone asking for good, wholesome books. The series follows Betsy and her friends from being 5 years old into their early 20s. I just wish I had as many good friends as Betsy!
