For the design of our box conveyor tracks, we relied heavily on the help of local model railroad enthusiasts.

The conveyor track runs through various "product picking tunnels" that contain the items that go into the boxes. There are several of these tunnels arranged according to how high the demand for that item is. For instance, the latest book by Phillip Yancey would be on the "fast pick" shelves while a technical work on certain aspects of New Testament Greek grammar would be found on the "slow pick" shelves. Fast or slow have only to do with demand and say nothing about whether the particular book reads fast or slow. It's a well known fact that some works on New Testament Greek grammar can be quite zippy!

The shelves in the picking tunnels are filled from our back stock area or "the Stacks". Those of you who recall the closing scene of the movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark" may recognize this portion of our warehouse (just kidding).

The back stock shelves are not so easy to get at. "Hey, did somebody lose a lunchbox?"
